Amy Benton

Amy has more than 20 years experience in print media, sales, marketing and business management.  A publisher and marketer at heart she’s developed magazines, headed up a weekly Post – Newsweek Publication and currently produces a hyper-local daily online community news source in the Maryland region. From budgets in the millions of dollars to those in the hundreds of dollars, Amy understands that everyone business needs results. Nothing brings her more joy than planning a great event be it a race or a black-tie gala. A member of the Carroll Creek Rotary Club she passionately believes in service above self and is drawn to leadership roles.

Jennifer Gerlock

With over 15 years of experience in public relations and non-profit development, Jennifer has represented clients ranging from small mission based non-profits to national record labels, local retail shops to multi-platinum recording artists and their respective worldwide tours. An event planner at heart, she’s spearheaded functions ranging from music videos to black-tie galas, charity golf tournaments to blogger relation events. She serves as Want2Grow’s resident  social media diva and copywriter.  Jen is co-director of the Frederick Social Media Club and serves on the board of the Advertising Federation of Greater Frederick.
